from the bits i saw, rachel’s cheating incident was emotional cheating 4 years before she and brandon even got married. they talked it out, settled it, and still chose to get engaged and eventually married. but brandon cited her cheating as a main reason for him wanting to annul their wedding bc he cant trust her. cant say rachel’s completely blameless bc cheating is cheating, but objectively brandon’s cheating was both physical and emotional AND they were already married. So it’s a disgustingly asshole move to initiate their separation and push all the blame onto his wife without revealing that he was seeing another girl 😭😭 like he fr wanted to secretly divorce so he could ask out his taiwanese girl without exposing his history
