Lost Boys the Musical...where to start... The movie for me is an 80's cult classic. The two Corey's (RIP Corey Haim 🙏) were a pop phenomenon, and this movie was a big driver to their stardom. From a storyline the musical does a good job at staying true to what audiences loved about the movie, vampires and humor! Where this show elevates itself from all others shows are the vertical space sets and aerial choreography, it's eye-candy eye-catching, eye-pectacular like no other and eye I can go further but it's something you need to see for yourself and something that my videos won't give it justice. Eye-side from the cast which is spot on, and talented as Fcuk..can we please all give it up for Shoshana Bean as the mother, Lucy. 👏👑👏 This wildly talented production and cast received the most Tony nominations this year along with Schmigadoon at 12 Tony noms. The songs "Belong to Someone" (reprise) transitioning into "You Belong To Me" expresses Michael's deep, emotional yearning for connection, safety, and a place to fit in after feeling unseen by his family and dealing with past trauma and dramatizes into the horrifying trap of emotional manipulation of the past promises of familial love actually turns into captivity and the loss of one's soul. Deep. LJ Benet who was nominated for this role is so captivating and vulnerable yet confident as being the standout in this production, his soaring vocals are ridiculous as you can tell in this video, he is a star to be reckoned with!! Ali Louis Bourzgui as Michael who won a Tony is amazing and I'm so happy for this unbelievable actor. These two have such great chemistry together, I was in awe to witness so much talent on one stage across the board. Big shout out to Ben Crawford as the father, as a commenter mentioned. He was scary as fukc, but damn those vocals were on point, and deserves kudos as well. Brava. Sorry for the mid visuals, but the audio is on point.
