Putting vapor rub with orange peel on a baby’s feet and covering them with socks is a home remedy, but there’s no good evidence that it treats a cold, cough, congestion, or fever. More importantly, be careful with vapor rubs containing camphor, menthol, or eucalyptus. Many are not recommended for children under 2, and camphor can be dangerous if swallowed or used improperly. Orange peel can also irritate sensitive baby skin. For a congested baby, safer options include saline nose drops with gentle suction and a cool-mist humidifier. If you tell me how old the baby is and what symptoms they have, I can tell you what’s safe to use.

Ummm the second part was completely unnecessary to melted. You literally could’ve just dipped the damn Q-tips in the freaking jar and then put it in the bag. What was the point of doing that and then freezing it just to solidify again😒

Or you could just put it straight on the bottom of bare feet then socks and save from ruining a nice pair. The orange is optional and really not needed. Works great alone. 💙
