@tongtong9731: Most people may never get to see a scene like this in real life—this was filmed while I was standing on top of a 30,000 m³ fixed roof storage tank under construction. Below me, workers are carrying out the fit-up and welding of the roof plates. As each steel plate is installed, positioned, and welded, the complete fixed steel roof gradually takes shape. From the ground, what you notice about a large storage tank is its height. Once you stand on the roof, you begin to understand its diameter and enormous surface area. And when you look into the distance, you experience something even bigger—an entire tank farm made up of dozens of massive storage tanks. That’s one reason I enjoy documenting my projects from different perspectives. From the tank bottom and shell to the roof, from fixed roof tanks and dome roof tanks to API 650 vertical storage tanks, oil storage tanks, chemical storage tanks, and fire water tanks, this is part of our everyday work. But for many people, it may be an industrial construction site they rarely—or perhaps never—get to experience up close.
