Love this story. And love that you took these dogs in and kept them together. Suggestion. When the owner does pass away, ask that you be allowed to take the dogs to the funeral home to see her. Dogs understand death. They will have closure and be able to move on. Trust me. I’ve seen the grieving process in dogs. And this does help. I know it sounds crazy. But it does help them close that door.

Thank you for loving these precious puppies. Thank you for sharing your home with them. My precious puppy requires a lot of care. I worry about what would happen to him and my kitty, who is currently laying on my chest purring, if something happened to us. Most people would just put my puppy down because they would not want the trouble. We are his whole life and there is no doubt in my mind he would lay his down to save ours. It is good to know there are kind, loving people in this world who are willing to open their hearts and homes to others. Five dogs and a cat are a LOT of responsibility. I know because my mom raised Berners and we have a Pyr. Oh the hair! 😂 WORTH. EVERY. VACUUM! 🥰 Thank you for being the kind of people who can be added to the small group of truly kind, loving, people who are willing to take on that kind of responsibility. The kind of people who are willing to rearrange their own lives so others can experience love, warmth, kindness, safety, and healing. Thank you. ❤️
