I had the honor of sitting in the Anesthesiologists seat the day my son was born. My wife was having an emergency C Section and the Anesthesiologist offered his chair to me to watch my son being born.

I come from a highly achieved family. Most of cousins ended up being doctors including my own sister. My cousins are either surgeons, neurologists or obgyn! I only have one anesthesiologist and everyone teases her by calling her the lazy one with the most boring job ever 😅

When I had an emergency c section, my anesthesiologist never sat. He stood right next to me and watched me constantly, talked to me, told me to look at him, etc. I was almost dying and very appreciative that he was there. 🤍
