Brady :
There are moto America champs that don’t touch the rear brake. Non essential on the race track and comes down to preference

practice panic stopping and getting your bike to move where you want it. pick a mark and start your exercise by hitting brakes and getting your bike to that mark. you can try this in EMPTY parking lot. some require both brakes learn to shorten the distance to get bike stopped. learning this on dirt bike getting by getting your bike to slide but be in control. This is same when you loose traction on street or as you go off the road. No front brakes in loose conditions unless you ride dirt.! you know when and how much brakes. hope this helps. Cheers
