@teresondupuy: The Cornell case is going to change the conversation around college culture. Will one case stop men from behaving predatorily toward women? No. Will one investigation dismantle an entire culture overnight? No. But something else is changing. Women are changing. We are getting better at recognizing predatory behavior. We are questioning environments we were taught were harmless. We are talking to one another. We are comparing notes. We are learning that charm is not character. That popularity is not safety. That a prestigious school, fraternity, institution, or social circle does not automatically protect us. And that we cannot outsource our discernment. This is not about making women responsible for preventing men’s violence. The responsibility for assault belongs entirely to the person who commits it. But the feminine can become fiercely protective of herself. We can teach our daughters to trust discomfort. To watch behavior. To protect one another. To leave when something feels wrong. To understand that being polite is never more important than being safe. And perhaps that is part of what changes the culture. Not women becoming afraid of men. Women becoming unwilling to abandon themselves in order to remain acceptable to them. #WomensSafety #CollegeCulture #WomenSupportingWomen #Awakening #SelfTrust
I guess you didn’t see her original text messages on the bottom line is this young lady made a choice to do what she did. She got upset with these boys for not inviting her back to their parties so then she turned the tables on them. She’s a very fictitious young lady and it’s pretty sad that we don’t get to know her name but boy they blab the seven boys names out they all were participants. They all did drugs. She admitted it and now her story changes. I know it’s just your opinion, and this is just mine
