At 3, we had to sedate my son to figure out if he could hear. He failed 4 hearing tests. They hooked up him up and looked at his brain waves and turns out he can hear perfectly fine but doesn’t give one f. It’s better at 6 but literally had our entirely family enrolled for ASL classes.
