Many Romanians believe that their democratic choice was taken away from them and that the political establishment protected its own power instead of respecting the voters. Today, Romania is facing a deep crisis of trust in its institutions, with many people feeling that the old communist mentality never truly disappeared — it simply changed its face. Democracy should mean respecting the vote of the people, not deciding which candidates are allowed to represent them. Romania deserves free elections, transparency and a government that answers to its citizens — not to the political establishment. The voice of the Romanian people must never be silenced. 🇷🇴
