When was the last time the Steelers drafted developed a corner William Gay in 2007 like come on you finally get one and you let them go over some second year guarantees you and I both know he is one hell of a player and could be a piece of a Super Bowl team.

steelers are on a generational idiotic run for team building. trading for DK to pay him huge and trading away Pickens and jpj makes no sense. the dk trade for was a win now move, especially with the older defensive stars. then you trade away your top young players in a pseudo tanking decision, that you sold low on tbh. they've made their team worse in their short term, but also are creating holes that wouldnt have needed to be filled. now they have upcoming needs at QB, RB, de, lb, cb, and probably safety. you could also argue that there will be a hole at wr and dt

He’s not top 10. People keep saying he is without looking to see if he actually is. In terms of stats, the man is further behind the actual list with sitting out. Is he making all pro this season ? He still has proving to do before ignoring the standard on guaranteed money. The top ten list is now 3 games worth of stats ahead.. just for him to get traded and expected to play out his original rookie contract somewhere else thst has no problems using the franchise tag.

Nobody talks about the fact that if the Steelers lost Joey Porter after the year, they would’ve got a third round pick compensatory anyway. So Dallas give you a two and your stinky six rounder that you gave them for the Pickens deal. If Dallas doesn’t sign Pickens at the end of this year now they get a third round pick anyway so it was a no-brainer for Dallas and a steel.
