@juvante27: I shared my experience because that day I had a full day of lectures, but I didn’t have money for lunch. The little money I had was already used for transport, and by the time I got to campus, I had to choose between food and getting home. Then I started hearing from so many students going through the same thing. Some are missing meals. Some are spending the whole day without eating. Some can’t ask home for more because their families are already struggling with tuition and other responsibilities. This made me realise that this is bigger than my own experience. So, what do we do? Because if so many students are silently going through this, we need to start talking about it and looking for real ways to support each other. Campus hunger is real.
