Not many people know that i’ve always wanted to pursue music before i started my acting career, I remember I would follow my dad to the studio and all these music award shows as a little girl, curious about everything. I loved watching how music came together, quietly hoping that one day I’d get to create something of my own. Fast forward & Acting came first, I’m grateful for where it has taken me. But that childhood dream stayed with me. I always thought, “One day, maybe daddy can help me explore the world he was once part of.” So when the idea of singing a soundtrack for a show I was acting in came along, I thought…. cuba je lah kan? I didn’t have a single or an EP then, just the desire to give it a go. And somehow, “Perfect” brought me here which i did not expect !!! From following Dad to award shows, to my first time attending AIM as a top 5 nominee myself. That means more to me than I can explain 🤍 Belum rezeki bawa pulang trofi, but so much to be thankful for. Watching my Abang, Hazama win was such a lovely part of the night too ✨ Someone who helped me so much during my first musical, and this time I got to cheer for his moment. Tumpang happy and proud! 🥹✨ Thank You @Darien Sebastian & @NAKI for helping me create “Perfect” and also congratulations to US !!! - @arenawan
