Honestly, the Indian and Chinese manufacturers are disappointing us. They keep reducing the quality of their products while increasing their prices. At the same time, the price of the steel they buy from us keeps dropping, causing serious losses for many people. I believe the leaders of the scrap-metal dealers should come together and engage major Nigerian investors like Dangote and others to establish steel and aluminium manufacturing companies here in Nigeria. This would create more competition, reduce our dependence on foreign manufacturers, and help protect local traders from unfair price pressures. 👌
