To you, brother Palestinian, I want to send a message of solidarity, respect and love. While I cannot fully feel what you are going through, I want you to know that your suffering is not forgotten, that your voice deserves to be heard and that your people deserve to live in peace, security and freedom. Behind every number, behind every image, there are human beings, families, children, parents, broken dreams and lives that deserve to be protected. Palestine is not just a territory on a map. It is a land full of history, culture, memory and identity. It lives in the hearts of those who were born there, those who had to leave it and those who continue to dream of finding it again. It lives in the memories of the elders, in the hopes of the children and in the courage of all those who refuse to see their identity disappear.
