@mrfoysal937: 🚨 BREAKING AFC NATIONS LEAGUE COULD COMPLETELY CHANGE ASIA’S WORLD CUP QUALIFYING! According to ESPN, a new biennial AFC Nations League could be introduced from 2030, with results directly determining qualification for both the FIFA World Cup and AFC Asian Cup. 🏆 The proposed structure would divide Asian teams into three tiers: 🔹 Tier 1: 18 teams 🔹 Tier 2: 18 teams 🔹 Tier 3: 11 teams 🌍 WORLD CUP PATH From the proposed 2032/33 edition, each nation would play 6 home + 6 away matches. The top six teams in Tier 1 would qualify directly for the World Cup. Teams finishing 7th–10th would enter a playoff: ➡️ Top 2 qualify for the World Cup ➡️ 3rd place advances to the Intercontinental Playoff 🏆 ASIAN CUP PATH For Asian Cup-linked editions, all 18 Tier 1 teams + the top six Tier 2 teams would qualify for the Asian Cup. There would also be promotion and relegation between divisions, while the top eight Tier 1 teams would advance to a knockout stage to compete for the Nations League title. 📅 A pilot competition is proposed for 2028/29, before the first official AFC Nations League in 2030. If approved, this would represent one of the biggest changes to Asian international football in decades — with the Nations League effectively becoming the pathway to both the World Cup and Asian Cup. ⚠️ The format remains a proposal and has not yet been officially implemented. 📰 ESPN #ASEANFootball #AFCNationsLeague #AFC #WorldCup #asiancup
