idk why ya'll surprised. most of the kbl actors only act in bl cause they can't land rules in kdramas due to not being popular enough. bls is like their chance to appear to an audience and once they get through that hurdle they move on. if they can't land a kdrama they go back to bl cause that's the only thing they'll be able to land. and i'm not demeaning bl dramas but this is reality that bls currently in korea are similar to indie films easier to get into as a new actor and a way for them to get their foot into acting main leads. once they get what they want of course they gonna switch up. if it's the company's decision then they're just putting kim yoonsik on hot water, not to mention prosecutor's proposal is one of the top rated BL's for 2026. If they were smart they should've given him more flexibility and say that he will be exploring more projects to challenge himself as an actor rather than completely erasing his artistry which gave him the clout that he has today. There's nothing embarrassing about acting in a BL, your job is to act regardless of your sexual orientation in real life the agency should understand that if they abandon his past with prosecutors proposal they're basically tearing apart the small amount of fans he currently has isnce he's still a rising actor. I hope this is just a rumor though but even if it isn't it's impossible to scrub it off the internet.
