Arena.AI is NOT a reliable source for AI, these benchmarks are made by people giving the AI a score based on how well they think it performs. Though this image is based on those unreliable scores, it isn’t really shocking that a Gemini model wouldn’t be the greatest at coding since Gemini was never really known for being good at that. In Arena.AI Gemini scores above everyone else in TEXT and in WebDev it scores below GPT-6 Sol (max). What I’m trying to say is that this is a satirical meme, and doesn’t yet fully prove that Gemini is incapable of being good at code, it’s simply a prediction based on the arena scores, so don’t take this too seriously.
