@theinvisiblehandco: Every one of Germany's richest people under 60 inherited their money, while in America it's the opposite 😬💶 Peter Thiel thinks this explains why Europe is slowly falling behind. Germany has barely grown since 2018, its biggest company is 89 years old, and its startups are being outraised by Britain's nearly four to one. The third largest economy in the world has forgotten how to build new things. #germany #europe #startups #economics
Only that Elon came from a wealthy family that sponsored him.

We are not afraid of success! We are taxed into being afraid. Opening a company making a startup is a nightmare. Full of burocracy

it's because there are so much rules in the eu, innovation is hard if you can't even afford or can do anything

Somebody with a company in Germany here 🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♂️Starting a business in Germany is an absolute nightmare. You get crushed by insane taxes, strict data privacy laws, massive health insurance costs, and cold outreach is literally illegal. That is why every German startup moves to Cyprus, Dubai, or the US the second they get a chance. They make it completely impossible for founders here.

German here: you literally get punished by the government as soon as you try to build your own company- the amount of regulations is insane and you have to pay sooooo much upfront that people don't even start

Should we really aspire to create people like Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk? Were those really the best examples you could've used?

They need to make it easier to be independent and open up businesses, I swear teachers at school or anywhere make kids or students afraid of self employed, I’ve experienced it myself at school. They make self employed seem impossible and High Risk and encourage everything to be an employee.

In Germany the system is designed to keep people in the same level, you have enough to get through the month but never enough to be rich

Ever wondered what actually makes an investment valuable? Sometimes, what’s beneath the surface matters more than the potential return.

this is a well known fact . West Europe punishes ingenuity and anybody wanting to start a business. wanna start a small plumbing business? Read this 2k page document about the tax codes or else you will drown in debt . like ofc nobody wants to risk anything here
