@offenceregister: Old Oscott Child Abuser Stuart Palmer Sentenced To 12 Years 👇 FULL CASE DETAILS BELOW 👇 Predatory child sex offender Stuart Palmer, aged 47, from Old Oscott, has been sentenced to 12 years' imprisonment after grooming a young girl and using coded communications to signal impending sexual abuse. Birmingham Crown Court heard Palmer subjected the young child to a campaign of sexual abuse spanning several years. The offending was uncovered when the victim bravely confided in an individual who urged her to report the abuse to West Midlands Police. Palmer denied the allegations and offered "no comment" throughout his police interviews. However, digital forensic specialists recovered text messages and digital images from his mobile telephone that corroborated the child's disclosures and exposed his system of coded signals. Palmer faced 10 counts of sexual abuse. At Birmingham Crown Court on 30 September, the judge sentenced him to 12 years' imprisonment, alongside a lifetime Sexual Harm Prevention Order, an indefinite restraining order, and mandatory sex offender registration.
