Kabul has a very similar story to Manila not only because they were both once called the "Paris of Asia", but both were once very vibrant cities and very well known for highly resembling western cities, very nice boulevards and avenues and highly developed but both of their titles were lost to the same thing which is War. Manila was bombed to the ground and instead of rebuilding they largely rushed it and turned the city into a urban hell and Kabul was mostly devastated by the war which is very unfortunate since I found both cities as very beautiful prior to the devastation they faced.
