@rszugv6: In this video, Attorney Ugo Lord discusses a scenario where a pedestrian and a cyclist interact in a risky manner. The focus is on understanding liability in such situations. What’s your take on who is responsible? #liability #pedestrian #cyclist #law #legaladvice
I don't think the cyclist could move over with their dogs. Which is a pretty decent argument not to walk your dogs with a bicycle.

The trails near my house have signs that say bikers should be on the right and walkers should be on the left

I'm disabled and literally can not move fast. this happened to me a few weeks ago and all I could do was hunker down to reduce the risk of damage to my recently operated on leg. the bike finally swerved thankfully but it still enrages me. he could have caused serious damage to me out of sheer ego.

Am I the only one that thinks they're both at fault? because why are you going to let yourself get hit by a f****** bicycle be so f****** serious. as an insurance claim adjuster, I love when these videos come in and the person's like but I had the right away. having the right away does not give you the right to cause harm to yourself or other people. if you can prevent the accident you are supposed to do so it's called paying proper time and attention

The bike laws only apply to public roadways. The rules of the road do not apply to trails buddy. The city can impose rules or ordinances for the trails though.

The fact this is even a discussion is whays wrong with the world. Bikes yield to people, and it's just common sense.

I would say that the biker and The pedestrian are approaching each other. the person riding a bike has a higher threat level. so he is liable. same as if somebody was walking up to you rudely and you pulled out a gun and shot them. it has to be proportionate. The person with the more weapon is the aggressor and is then at fault.

You ride your bike and you walk the same way you drive. Why does everyone have to make this so complicated.
