When I got into 4th year, I went to an office to do some registration. A staff there looked at my fingers and goes “oh so you like wearing rings?”.. I said yes. He laughed and said “don’t worry, when you settle in this place you won’t have time for all these things anymore”. Safe to say, I finished medschool very beautifully, while always remaining stacked. I made sure to wear several rings throughout my clearance period so he could see that I didn’t lose my spark because of school 😝

A lecturer personally called me aside after an exam and started telling me about how in medical school i shouldn’t be putting so much effort in looking good and different else im going to stand out and im like is that so bad?bro was talking about my hair,my skirt,my jewelry…a full grown old man btw and after that he still proceeded to invite me to his office to “tutor me” yeah suree.I respected him before but ever since that interaction no fucking way

In my 2nd year in nursing school, I changed to a new school girl first day I got to class was all gossips whispering “this one is a Slayyyy queen and will not know anything “ until classes started and I was very active in class asking n answering questions, the CA marks were released. They were all shocked, my name automatically changed to “Aunty” since I am a mom n also a little older than some of them. Even the lecturers were shocked at my marks just because I like putting my lipgloss and dressing well before going to school. Very funny pipo😂

That one no concern me ooooo. I will look extra good. Nobody knows it all… and I’m not ashamed to not know what I’m being asked. During rounds, doctors point at me to answer questions or clerk a patient or do an examination and I do my best to do or answer based on what I know… and I’m open to corrections. So if I don’t get it, correct me.
