As a Haitian American, this is pure facts . You can’t come to someone’s house walk the walk talk to talk eat the food and salt them and think it’s OK. That interview is not cool. We need to stop doing this to each other. It is not cool at all, not all Haitians feel this way even though it is being said, it’s got to stop we are benefiting from this culture, music and movies and insulting. The people who created it. It’s not cool and it’s not fair.

I use to think there was solidarity, especially when I was younger, ages 20-25. But I learned these people don’t invite you to their parties, don’t introduce you to their families and overall have an isolated friendship with you. They want to be your friend when it is convenient.

We need statistics to prove your point. I don’t think the majority of black immigrants feel an aversion towards BA. The system should change to include more education on BA of course, but one off’s shouldn’t be looked at as normal.
