I said preseason I thought Iowa State went bowling this year despite all of the bottom of big 12 predictions. I felt we got better on both the offensive and defensive lines. BYU will probably be ugly this week, but I still believe we’ll go bowling

One of my biggest takeaways is that despite everything Mike Norvell can still get his team motivated and playing well enough to convincingly beat Virginia, we’ll see if this means anything down the road but I am shocked by that result

Kinda feels like Iowa State could benefit from the change. Campbell undoubtedly raised the standard and foundation of the program, but going back to 2021 they would always stall out and would never really follow up good seasons consistently. I think Rogers and his staff are excellent schematically and culture builders, once the talent catches up next year and beyond I think the ceiling can be higher

Earlier in the year I said we would know how the Iowa State hire and team would look after 3 games, it really took 5 but man I'm excited to see what we have going forward. Aiden Flora is my hero for staying and giving us this immaculate performance so far this year.
