hi sassa deducted R200 since April from my pension and had to find out at sassa office and they just said it's 1Life and I have to be in contact with this people but they give me a contact number I Google no offices of them in Capetown the deduction stop for the past 2 months my pension is R2400 can I still go to the bank to claim my money back pls 🙏

im 64 years was getting only R1700 for 1 year only was reduced to R256 now,my wife get no pension from work but a sassa of R1700 n was told they going to also reduced her sassa so unfair. ps we not voting this time round.

There are local stores that have been, and still are, charging over and above the amounts due if you pay by card.. They're passing their bank fees on to the consumer. The call for pensioners to "picket" on 2nd November outside polling stations and to withhold their vote by an organization representative pensioners is irresponsible and counterproductive.I have responded by informing them that the 2 days before election is for the special votes and given the number of pensioners we have in SA is that there is the likelihood of only a small number of them on that day....bearing in mind that many aged ppl will vote at home like myself. I also indicated that the schools at that time would likely be conducting exams, and that any disturbance would be injurious, in particular to the grade 12s.
