I dont get why so many people are hating on CIG for giving us a game to play while theyre currently building it. Red Dead Redemption took 8 years to make with a team of 2000 developers. No one was able to play it until it was done. When they released it, it made $725 million in 3 days. RockStar had all the money they made from all their previous games and 6000 employees across 12 different Studios to make GTA VI and its still taken them 13 years to churn out GTA V with a different map, characters and a new story.

Crazy how people claim the just because they raise 1bil dollars the game should be done. First what game out there has done even 1 percent of what CIG is doing? What game other game is out there on the same level...NONE. Second they developed 2 game modes one the single player game Squadron 42 and then the Persistent Universe. Third they created there own engined called Star Engine to run the game and two they created there own tools to help push development even quicker. Most people who complain have no idea how game development works. Especially when you have Big time actors in the single player mode playing characters. Gta6 and other AAA games don't even come close to what CIG has done. And honestly the last two years development has been accelerated by 10 due to again all these custom tools they created to make planets ships and gameplay

this is what I need from base building. beds that any player with granted permissions can log out in store and summon small and maybe medium ships for all players with granted permissions

I pledged to SC years ago, I've watched it grow and I am impressed, however, everything just feels...empty. I feel like it needs NPCs and such to populate bases and also to act as crew on-board ships. I've no idea if this is the plan or not but if it isnt, it really needs to be.
