@cleoabram: This microscope is insane. Look at the difference between these two images! Both are of a cell’s nucleus, but this one was taken with a SUPER-RESOLUTION microscope. Regular microscopes can only see down to about 250 nanometers, past that, the wavelengths of visible light are bigger than what we're trying to see so light waves diffract and spread out But this kind of super-resolution microscope uses a clever trick allowing us to turn blurry smears into crisp maps of cells… To see more, follow along! #microscope #cell #biology #Science #Tech
