I have been on and off with been on sick due to a chronic illness and not a day goes by that I feel so much regret having a chronic illness as I feel like I have left my team down and my manager down because I am of sick i hate it.

Yep. Just say a small prayer for them and their well being. Be thankful you don’t have to deal with an illness no one can see or understand. It’s a BIG reason I do the jobs I do and be my own boss. But not everyone can do that. Pray for healing and strength and for more spoons another day.

we got a new transfer a month ago and she has only worked ONE full shift, the rest she either calls off or leaves an hour after starting without notifying anyone on the team leaving us to wonder where the fuck she went

ex-coworker used to find excuses DAILY to leave mid shift (usually “sick”) and got surprised management fired her when she decided not to show up because she was “sick” again…mind you she never even seen a doctor let alone bring a note with her EVER 🤣

Feel like this is me right now 😔 had to take off everyday but 1 and then leave an hour early bc my bf was in the er 5 times being misdiagnosed the first 4 and the meds they gave him for the first diagnosis made his ACTUAL diagnosis worse😭 I was able to work 2 days before I started feeling sick n having abdominal pain went to urgent care thinking it was what my bf had it wasn’t but they kept me off work then I’m rushed to the ER the NEXT day for what I think is just really bad trapped gas that lasts for six hours but my bf insists I get looked at only to have multiple gallstones that took a round of fent and a round of morphine to subside 🫥 the doctor told me I needed to have my gallbladder removed now and take even MORE time off for surgery 🫣
