My 6 year old was petting my pregnant doe(goat) when I was trimming her hooves that she said “you better give us twins so we can eat one”. We in fact did not eat either twin cause she gave us 2 gorgeous does that are going to be in our breeding pens

This is genuinely an amazing way to do it because when they grow up they'll have a very deep appreciation for the meat they eat even if they buy it from a store

I think I'll be okay, watched someone butcher a chicken and prepare it. my youngest asked who 💀 the chicken told him it's to fill their freezer. he then said he was hungry I asked for what? him without skipping a beat said chicken 😭😂

My grandkids live on a farm and have raised beef multiple times in their young lives and none of them feel weird or get grossed out about knowing their cows are meant for food. They’re all ready to start raising meat chickens next and they always explain to others how important it is to know where your food comes from
