happened with my ex. he made a mask of this perfect guy. normally when we are dissolusioned, it's like we discover areas that we don't like. but with him, he lied about his whole personality and his real personality is the opposite. hurt my head badly.

Your right about video convo between her and her mom & her mom was like Oh no you’re doing this! So she dresses him and tries to create him into being what she can,become he is so far from her type and likewise. She is not his type but her followers needed this and go along with the unrealistic relationship. It’s sad to watch but maybe it’s not sad for narcissists. When I met my narc’s long-distance best friend, I immediately knew there was something amiss. His BF dressed very odd, and I knew then where my narc got his matching style. Huge red flags. He had adopted a persona, and I’m quite sure they had/were sleeping together (narcs cheat and beg to get caught).

She has SO many lyrics talking about how she’s the problem (unironically), and she messed up or hurt someone. SO many. Anything is possible, but it’s so unlikely for a narc to even be able to do that. Also, they don’t self reflect - her songs are incredibly self reflective. So I wonder how you reconcile that? I’m sure if she was one she’d be a communal, so some of her persona would fit - but I find the lyrics to be difficult to fit with the typical narc patterns and shallow sense of self.

what's so funny is before Taylor he seemed to have a different type of woman and she wasn't it and it's funny because she'll never recognize that she will never be it because you can't just turn yourself from a white woman to a black woman.
