But we can't just hook up the RV and leave! 🙈 📍 Campground stays: we need a site big enough for our nearly 40-foot fifth wheel, roads that can handle us, working hookups, and no low branches (so we don't become somebody's worst campground story). 🌳 🏜️ Boondocking sounds even MORE spontaneous, except... ❓ Is the road passable? ❓ Is there room to turn around? ❓ Will we get stuck? 💧 Do we have enough water? 🔋 How much power will we use? 🌲 Is a giant tree waiting to destroy our roof? Plus, we both work, so schedules and bad weather matter too. 💻⛈️ Our version of spontaneity: "We should go somewhere random!" 🎲 ✅ checks weather ✅ checks roads ✅ checks campground availability ✅ checks boondocking maps ✅ checks tanks and batteries ✅ checks work schedules ✅ checks for trees 😂 "Okay! Let's go!" 🚀 Honestly? I wouldn't trade it. ❤️ RV life gives us more freedom, even with more planning than I expected.
