A/D for you is yaw not roll? The mouse should always be the opposite of A/D. if A/D is roll, mouse is yaw if A/D is yaw, mouse is roll

idk man rifle aim with high sense can circle strafe consistently indefinitely as long as you have a yaw button on keyboard too that way you can readjust your mouse while still strafing

keyboard seems perfectly fine for roll due to the physics. Would much prefer yaw with mouse and keyboard combo.

how do you get such a smooth yaw with A&d as your left and right yaw. I've been using mouse as roll. which it looks like is what you're doing. but whenever I try to yaw with a or d it's very jerky.

feel like they need to fix the hotas controls it blows my mind that mouse control is better and easier than hotas. based on how the hotas is, I would have expected mouse to be nearly uncontrollable and yet they have changed how the controls work fundamentally and made it better than traditional controls

The transformer lines are a good point of reference for practicing this as well. Just focus on the top as you circle away and then move in and away as you get more comfortable.
