Skill jobs should be based on merit rather than race, age, or sex. Non skill jobs like factory work should be more at random. If a 30 year old black woman is more qualified to be a computer engineer she should be hired over a 20 year old white guy. But if both of them are forklift certified and have the same amount of experience it should be decided based on who would get along better with others in the company. I don’t think diversity should be forced but I also see that social issues such as racism and sexism limit the amount of diversity we can have occurring naturally.
