I am incredibly left. Like openly misandrist to my kids. My very proactive progressive 13 year old son who started CRYING when I told him about the Cornell gng rpists likes hip hop and I have been trying to get into it with him to share his interests and to keep him close to me and away from the manosphere. The other day I was like “you can play anything that is not misogynistic, I don’t want to listen to men calling women bitch or whore in my car” and he got so upset and was like “but then there’s no hip hop we can listen to!” and it made me realize there is no where, noooo where that involves men that is free from misogyny. It is literally part of what they think makes them men vs boys: the degradation of us. We have to claw out of this with our fcking fingernails.
