I was in love with someone throughout my early 20s (19–24) and that was beautiful. But realising that my story didn’t end with them and that 2 years later I’ve grown so much as a person outside of a relationship, has been such a beautiful thing too. Yes, I’m sad about losing that part of myself, even if only temporarily, but I’m so grateful that I get to experience the rest of my 20s through other forms of love. And honestly, it took me a while to realise that. ❤️
