I love the story, AQ and I personally never skip through it, if they the don’t add it for the AQ they at least NEED IT for world quests. As someone who would never skip archon quests, I DREAD WORLD QUESTS

I do want to know the lore at some point. But when I'm done with school. And it'd be so nice to at least have the option to skip. I play the game to collect men, explore and i rather like the puzzles. I don't wanna have to sit through hours of yap. And don't get me started on the filler.

"skip button will ruin the game" riiiiight, so why does Cyberpunk2077 have a skip button? or Elden ring cutscenes? or any other ACTUAL story games, skip button doesn't ruin the game, if anything I think if Genshin would get skip button they would gain soo many more players, bc a lot of people have quit Genshin not bc they didn't like it, but bc the quests started getting way too long and tedious

the northland bank mission took me 30+ minutes, only for my internet to go out and i had to re-do it. some of us have bad connection and then long ass stories is unbearable ( i quit the game last year for this reason)

honestly it would be as bad if they cut the useless time wasting parts. I.e- the groundhog day sequence in sumaru and mostly recently the whole elevator and book part for the newest story non of that was needed could've been a five minuete cut scene and move on

Yes! I play to explore. Personally, I find it hard to understand any lore at all no matter how hard I try (in other games too), so I just skip. I don't see the harm in a skip button

as someone who's relationship with this game is literally on and off not having a skip button is A CRIME! especially like i want to explore the map like...i remember doing a sumeru wq and it took me four hours because the puzzles are confusing or literally the dialogues are boring.. DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THE AQ
