There are certain doors that will only open once you fully close the other one and cement it shut. Forgiving yourself for what you accepted works like any other relationship… the best apology you will ever give yourself is changed BEHAVIOR, and changed behavior looks like getting yourself back in motion, and becoming the woman you know you could be.. working towards your goals again. A client asked me today how she was supposed to forgive herself for the things she accepted in her last relationship, because the embarrassment was still sitting on her. When we got underneath it, her energy was still going into the fantasy that this was just part of their story, that they needed to go their separate ways for a while and would find their way back to each other. That fantasy is what kept her standing in the doorway. So the first decision a woman makes when she is ready to move forward is that she is never going back. The second decision is what she is going to do next. And I have watched it happen time and time again! the moment you close that door for good and say, okay, THIS is where we are going, the world opens up to you, because the universe has no other choice but to meet you at your level of determination and audacity. There is something so motivating about putting it all on the line and saying, okay, I’m going to bet on myself, and then going and doing the DAMN thing. That is what being SO BACK actually looks like. Tell me if you relate to this in the comments! Link in bio for 1:1 coaching & masterclass!
