Why is it “misbehaving” to set boundaries and expressing emotions?

I find this a dangerous concept. Infantilising women as children.

I know some people translate it as spoiled, but I feel like a better translation would be bratty. Like especially if you look at the definition of a brat when it comes to more “adult” realms, a brat is a submissive partner who will act out in a way to get their way or to create a situation where the dominant partner can enforce or take action. I know that the discussion doesn’t have to do with this specific “adult“ topic but the comparison between the personality/dynamic is very similar whereas normal general western “femininity” doesn’t relate as much

This is how I treat my kids. I've always been the one they can come to and scream and cry and fling themselves on the ground in front of, because I'll love them just the same during and afterwards. We *need* an English word for this.
