@untoldstoryzzz: in West Africa Especially in the Togo area, and parts of Nigeria there is a strange festival called Zangbeto. At night, drums begin to beat. A tall, cone-shaped figure made of dry grass appears. It spins. It jumps. It moves in ways that don't look human. Locals say there is no man inside. They believe Zangbeto are "night guardians" spirits that protect the village, catch thieves, and carry messages from ancestors. Sometimes, small animals or objects appear from inside the costume. To believers, this is proof,... that they are really there to protect and serve the people of the west !..
