Introducing our October Visiting Plane of the Month: The Flyin’ Tiger Bohannon B-1! ✈️ Visit us this month to see this record-setting aircraft up close and learn more about its incredible history. The Flyin’ Tiger, a highly modified RV-4 kit airplane, was flown by Texas-born pilot and air racer Bruce Bohannon to set 30 world records between 1999 and 2005. Designed for time-to-climb and altitude records, the aircraft reached 47,530 feet and set records for reaching 20,000, 30,000, and 40,000 feet. The aircraft is on loan to LSFM from Bohannon, who was inducted into the Texas Aviation Hall of Fame in 2022. Learn more at lonestarflight.org. #fyp #lonestarflightmuseum
