@ashmcorvo: This sound was created through a collaborative effort by a team of scientists and producers for the show on Netflix, THE DINOSAURS (narrated by Morgan Freeman). Experts studied the throat, skull, and airway structures of each species featured to speculate what sounds they might have made. Allosaurus fragilis lived a brutal life. They’re one of the few species for which we have direct evidence of cannibalism—and stegosaurus thagomizer injuries to the nether regions 📚😭 This is a species featured in my upcoming novel. The allosaurus portrait was skillfully created by the artist Jacob Baardse (go visit his ArtStation!) The background showing a depiction of the Morrison formation is a still from LIFE ON OUR PLANET (go give it a watch on Netflix) Let me know what other species you want to experience! #dinosaur #paleontology #scifi #interesting #BookTok

i don't sound like that, bro

Jacarea :

I will never understand why alligator bellows are always used for dinosaur sounds when actual crocodiles can full on roar, gators can as well but it’s filmed much less often. I have one example of my own Nile crocs roaring on my page.
