@happydogs.23: I woke up in a strange place. I can't move. Everything is spinning. A note is attached to my collar. The vet found me when he opened up. Reading the note. Shaking his head. "Another case of abandonment and running off." 😭 My family left me to die. Because grapes cost too much. Because I ate the wrong thing. I remember eating them. Off the counter. Maybe 10 of them. I didn't know they were poison. 😰 My stomach hurt so much. Then I couldn't walk. Then darkness. Then here. The note says: "Good dog. 2 years old. We can't afford the $4,000 treatment. Please don't let her suffer." 💔 The vet is angry. "This could have been prevented." Running tests. Starting IV fluids. "Kidney damage has already begun." Another vet walks over.
