It’s not recommended because it can compress the placenta and umbilical cord. Side laying at this point is the only safest position. Laying on your back can also compress your placenta

My 17 weeks right now with my second but I look more like 27+ I’m huge 😅 so I can’t lay on my stomach anymore but I’ve used my pregnancy pillow to like make a swimming inner tube shape so I can’t put my stomach in it and still be able to sleep on my stomach 😂

i’m 28 weeks and still lay towards my stomach with one leg up, girls who know they know. i also lay on my back and did my whole first pregnancy

Girl! Don’t listen to these people on here saying it’s not safe to lay in your stomach. It will not cut off blood flow to your baby! They are literally attached to an umbilical cord inside your stomach. Any OB would say it’s safe as long as it’s comfortable.

These comments are wild😂 I’m on baby number 3 at this point and I have slept on my stomach pretty much until the beginning of my 3rd trimester will all 3 of them (only bc it started to become uncomfortable) and my girls are all PERFECTLY healthy and have no problems!! Don’t let people scare you 🩷

Love how people act like doctors on here…. Later on in your 2nd/3rd tea search clearly says it’s not safe to be on your belly or back regardless if it’s “comfortable” or not.

I’m 26 weeks and sometimes wake up and find myself laying on my stomach…it doesn’t hurt or feel uncomfortable but i definitely move to my side when i wake up like that
