You also have to think about the time. Teens are in school. When we go during spring break or in the summer there are a ton of teens.

I like carnival, but the food was not good. Packed itinerary with them. But royals ambience, food and entertainment is superior to me, not to mention the ships are beautiful, and busy as well. it was the time of year that was your issue. It's always crowded at kids camp, when I go.
