I am a big fan of Public Enemies but that seems to be a hot take. The Keep is worth checking out for how much of a left turn it is as a second movie follow up to Thief, even if it is flawed

Last of The Mohicans is a definite MASTERPIECE! (At least in my fathers eyes, and that’s what counts)

My exact emotions about Mohicans. When I was young it was for years my favorite film. Not the best just my favourite

I love Miami vice , the stylistic use of digital/handheld/action cam is awesome. It has this early 00’s cheesiness or cringe that recently I find so charming. It’s just cool

The problem with "Thief" is that James Caan's performance as the titular character feels fake and too showy; too eager to impress; pseudo-cool. Caan is much, much better (almost perfect) in 'Misery' by Rob Reiner.

Heat is not as thrilling as it sounds btw. 3 hours long and the first half is so slow. Still good tho
