Mark Kelly (D-AZ) said President Trump is “trying to buy votes” with his proposed $5,000 dividend if Republicans retain control of Congress after the midterm elections and his recent announcement to send payments to Medicare Part B enrollees and ACA recipients. Kelly told @margaret_brennan on Sunday he supports “trying to help some working class people and seniors on a fixed income,” but added that the $5,000 midterm dividend is “not right.” “I think people should see this for what it is, especially this $5,000 payment, if Republicans maintain control of the House and the Senate. I mean, this is just a payoff, and he’s trying to buy votes,” Kelly said.
