As a nurse, this is so true. Our standard for gallbladder attacks and kidney stones is morphine. When I had a gallbladder attack I couldn’t get anything other than Tylenol throughout the entire process including after surgery

This also applies to low income vs high income areas. When I was in a high income area no one asked me about my substance use. When I was in a low income area a doctor lied on my chart and said I was using 🍃

I had a C-Section. My very first birth. I had to heal wide open because of an infection. The stitches were cut out… they gave me ibuprofen… my STOMACH was wide open.
