@georgiaintech: You do NOT need years of experience, a tech background or a degree to break into tech sales 👀 Most people start in an SDR or BDR role, where you’re essentially responsible for finding potential customers, starting conversations and booking qualified meetings for the sales team. And the good news? A lot of the skills companies want can come from jobs you’ve already had. Retail. Hospitality. Recruitment. Customer service. Even roles where you’ve had to communicate confidently, work towards targets or deal with difficult people. The biggest mistake I see people make is applying to hundreds of roles with the exact same generic CV and hoping something sticks. Tech sales is SALES. So learning how to position yourself, optimise your CV + LinkedIn, reach out directly to decision-makers and actually SELL yourself into the opportunity can completely change your chances. You don’t need experience. You need to know how to position the experience you already have. 📈 Comment TECH if you want to learn how we help people break into tech sales with zero previous experience. #techsales #techcareers #careeradvice #careerchange #salesdevelopment
