@awakeningprod.co: He raised him like something was already inside. TOXOPLASMA (2025) is a strange psychological horror featurette with an intimate, suffocating feel, produced by AWAKENING PRODUCTIONS and directed by Robert Giles and Dwyer O’Brien, starring Dwyer O’Brien as Dwyer, a young man coming undone after his stepdad’s death. Under pressure from his roommate to “fix” himself, Dwyer instead bonds with a brain‑eating parasite he caught from cat feces, descending into parasite horror, visceral body horror, and a sequence of unhinged exchanges with a professor who seems disturbingly entertained by his breakdown. Dwyer O’Brien (born July 17, 2002) is a Los Angeles‑based American filmmaker whose horror film path runs through NOSTALGIA, ZAZA, REFLECTION.MP4, and TOXOPLASMA, all marked by psychologically driven horror and analog texture. Robert Giles (born October 30, 2002) is an American film director, screenwriter, producer, and cinematographer, associated with elevated psychological horror and atmosphere‑rich, character‑centered independent cinema. AWAKENING PRODUCTIONS is an independent film company making risky, cult‑driven horror; its films treat offense, rejection, and censorship risk as part of the creative process toward unseen horror cinema.
